I just graduated LPN school in June, and I'm starting my first job today in long term care. I'm excited and so very nervous at the same time. Any advice or suggestions about being a new grad on the job from my fellow LPNs?

Congratulations!! I'm a new grad LPN too and really scared of getting out there and find a job haha did they offer you a good pay? for me that's one of the issue I'm worrying about. I've heard a lot of places pay LPNs really low.
For the location I am in, I am satisfied with the pay they offered. Good luck on the job hunt!

Congratulations! You have my best wishes for success on your first job! Each individual is different in their approach to the first job, depending on their attitude, personality and level of knowledge, maturity, and skills. You will be good, if not the best, if you are the people person(I mean, getting along well with others).
As for me, I'm still looking for LVN job. Wish you all the best! Meanwhile, can you share us how did you landed your first job so fast! I have graduated in December 2011 and got license in August this year and not found a position yet. Appreciate it if you post some tips for job search.

Congratulations on securing your first nursing job!
I moved your thread to the First Year after Nursing Licensure for more response.
