Is there anybody out there that works at a facility that uses the Stan Fetal Monitor? I would love to hear about it! Curious to know if it cuts down on assisted delivries and c/s?

I am not familiar with it so I looked at their website. They certainly make a claim of reducing c-sections and assisted deliveries. I am skeptical though since we know that fetal monitoring in general increases those things without reducing mortality and morbidity. It doesn't claim to reduce mortality either, only to reduce acidosis.
I also dislike that they didn't want to put the word "lady partsl" on their website, "natural" "spontaneous" etc, irk me. If you are going to make supplies aimed at women's health then you might have to come to terms with the word lady parts.
I do believe that each new machine we get takes away a little bit of our skill and removes us a bit from our patients, so I have to admit to preferring hands on care to technology to begin with.
