Staff RN to Travel RN (AGAIN!)

Published

Specializes in cardiac/neuro step-down unit.

Long story short. Was a med surg tele travel nurse during covid for 1 year. Loved every second. Seeing the different states, money (I know it's not nearly as much now, im being realistic), not being tied down to one hospital, no drama for more than 13 weeks LOL. Now have an IR gig, Monday through Friday but 15 days off call, job and security is cool but also the same thing EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have 9 years, mostly med surg/tele experience. Thoughts of traveling again in 2025?! I'm an adventurous spirit. I love the thought of being somewhere for 13 weeks, even if it's crappy,  and being able to leave. My husband would be coming with me... pros and cons (besides lower rates)? Just need some clarity!
