St. Paul's School Of Nursing Experience

Published

Hey fellow nurses and nursing students,

This is for anyone who has gone to SPSON that is willing to share in detail their experience at the school. (Good, Bad, or Indifferent) I've been accepted into the Summer 2022 term and I have read so many mixed reviews. From SPSON being a scam, to a sketchy accreditation, etc. I would like to mainly hear from anyone who had attended and graduated from the school. What was your experience? How hard was it to pass? What are the teachers like? What are the classes like? How about the clinicals? ..etc. Please. Feel free to share for me and anyone else looking to enter the program.

Remember, some people don't have the option to just opt out and find another program so for those who are saying to run, we cant! LOL

Hi there,  was wondering how you are liking it so far? I believe I'm attending beginning Seot., but I'm still waiting on the official word.

Hey, so far I want to say that the program is “Okay.” And I say that because there are instructors that are new and they had a rough start trying to use the system. Which means we were behind a little but now things are picking up. You should definitely expect to do most of your learning at home. If you’re working fulltime, you should probably cut it down to part time because you’re going to spend a lot of time reading and studying . My best advice is to read or skim through chapters prior to lecture’s if you want to stay ahead. Oh and there’s an exam or quiz every other week. But you got this, good luck!

Here are the NCLEX pass rates. About 50%. Then again you have programs like LIU where 60-70% make it.

Thanks for the advice. Best wishes and Good luck to you. I am concerned how I'm going to make money and wondering if I should have chose the evening program, but I'm starting with the day program.

What kind of computer are you using if you don't mind me asking and do they require you to take it to class?
