Hi,
Wondering if there's anyone who's interviewed at St. Mary's in Minneapolis, and/or any current students or grads of the St. Mary's CRNA program? I'm looking for insight into their program from somebody who has first hand experience (what do you like, not like, how's your experience been so far, etc). I'm also wondering what to expect in the interview--is it a panel from the admissions comittee, or just one or two people that you interview with, should I be expecting clinical type questions or is it a more "get to know you" interview?
Thank you SO much in advance:)
Anyone?

The interview is a "get to know you" interview. I think they'll do some over the phone if you choose. In the past you'd meet with the program director or the clinical director and someone else from the faculty. No clinical type stuff.
I don't know too much about the schools other than SMU which is a front-loaded program with clinicals all over MN and Western WI. I just started. PM me if you have more questions. Good luck!

Since you just started, how do you like the program thus far at SMU? Anything that is missing or that you regret?
Also, how long after the interview did you find out if you got in?

I applied to a couple other schools but this school turned out to be a really good fit for me. It's frontloaded and seem to have decent clinical sites. It's only been a week in the program but everyone seems to gel.
I found out maybe 3 weeks after my interview I was on the alternate list, then they called me in the following March to start in May.
