I am currently in my last semester of an ADN program and I already have my bachelor's degree in business administration. I've always known that I wanted to be an NP, so my plans have been to forge straight on ahead into an NP program upon completion of my ADN. I spoke to a gentleman at SLU the other day, however, and he said that I could apply for fall 2013 matriculation, but they like for their applicants to have nursing experience.
I've had 6 A's and 2 B's thus far in nursing school so my grades are good, but now I'm wondering what my chances of being accepted are since I won't have much experience by the time the fall term starts. Does anyone have experience with SLU that may know more or who has gone straight into the NP program following nursing school without prior experience?
