SSU FNP Program 2017-2019

Hello!

I was just accepted into the Sonoma State Family Nurse Practitioner Program.

I would love advice from a previous SSU FNP student.

What recommendations do you have?

Anything you would do differently if you had the chance?

How many days or hours per week did you work while in school?

How many days per week were you on campus or in clinical?

Hi. I just got accepted into the FNP program for fall 2017 start as well. Hope to get some insight from others about commitment, time and other helpful tips. I guess I'll see you at the orientation in May!

I'm anxiously awaiting an acceptance notification for fall 2018. our applications were due by 1/31/18. when did you guys get notified last year about your acceptance? how's the program going?

I was wondering if you've heard back from SSU. I've been accepted into the fall program, but have not found any current threads about the Fall 2018 admission.

Yes I've also been accepted. Are you full or part time? It's hard to wait till the end of may to find out more details about the beginning of the fall semester. I have a lot id like to plan for haha

Awesome! Congratulations. I'm in the part-time program. I have a lot of questions too, mostly about establishing a preceptor and other clinical requirements.

I tried to find a way to PM you, but I'm not familiar enough with this site. :(

I was accepted for Fall 2018 pt program too! One of my friends also got in, and one is on the alternate list. :)

Hi all,

I know this is an old topic, but did any of you complete the program and have any words of advice? I'm also curious what your application stats were like. I can't find any information online about their applicant pool.

Hi guys! Not sure if any of you guys still keep tabs on this topic but I am looking to apply to the next cycle and cannot find any application pool stats or many threads about SSU. 

Looking for some answers to the program!
