spring 2016 KSU BSN

Published

Hey I used to watch the allnurses pages to figure out what I needed to get into the competitive traditional BSN program at kennesaw state. I got my acceptance letter the 1st week of october 2015 to start in January 2016 and just wanted to share my stats in case they might help you have an idea of what you need to get in.

5/5 top math science s I got 5 As

Out of the 7 math science s I had 5 As 2 Bs

overall gpa 3.52--> you can see this by looking at financial aid on owl express and checking out SAP (school academic progress)

teas score 87.3

Don't be discouraged if you don't get in 1st time you apply. I didn't get in for fall 2015 even though I was done with all my pre reqs but I reapplied for spring 2016 and got in. Also if you ask Fran if you can take pathophysiology early if youre done with all your other courses and you're not accepted yet, do it. Its a tough class and less stressful if you can do it before 1st semester in program.

Thanks for posting this! I will be moving to Georgia this coming summer and hoping to get into the program spring 2016. Is it possible to do part time classes in the program? Or do you have to be taking 4 classes at at time?

Sorry spring 2017"

I am going to apply to ksu bsn for fall 2016, and I also just took my teas today and got only 72.6%. Im so worried about it. However, my overall gpa is 3.97, I got A in all my classes except only one C in my a&p I. So what will be my 5/7 math and science gpa, and 7/12 prequisiste?

Talk to Fran or Sandy they are the nursing advisors. Im pretty sure you must be full-time for the bsn program s but they'd know better than me.

Don't feel bad I took the teas more than once also and got a 70 something the first time. You'll probably have to make at least an 80 but your gpa is amazing so maybe not. Fran or Sandy might be able to give you an idea if you should retake it. I studied the teas V book from ati and it helped alot. Especially the math and science. Good luck!

I am new here, so where can I find Fran or Sandy? And are they ksu bsn advisors? Thanks
