Hey everyone,

I'd love to start a thread to discuss all of our experiences/and misguidings here. I know that although I love SPC, the program (even just starting) is already somewhat disorganized. What cha'll think.

I'm going into level 3, so I've had a bit of experience. First semester was VERY organized with great instructors. Kind of a boot camp, but they made sure you learned what you needed to know. 2nd semester was a disaster! Totally disorganized. If you can't handle an online class, you're in trouble because that's what it felt like. No guidance or actual instruction at all and a very high fail rate. (I did, however, love my clinical instructor.) This isn't sour grapes because I did manage an A in the class, but it was NOT because of the instructors. I'm really hoping level 3 is better.

Hi I'm sure we'll love input from you. The group that I am in is sponsored by Morton Plant Earn as you Learn. I really can't wait to start Monday (but I'm sure I'll take that back come Feb.).......So far if the first semester is "organized" than I'm nervous for the next 3 after this start. But we've been blessed by many alumni giving us input (like which teachers to avoid) and I'll take as many as I can, however for our little group, we don't have a choice. I have Slick and Crumb this semester and I've heard really good things so far. Thanks for the input. We don't take honesty for sour grapes at all. Reality isn't always sweet.

You might find more responses and/or interest in the "Nursing Student" Forum than on this one.

Best of luck

Mrs. Slick is one of my favorite teachers ever. She is strict, but very very funny and entertaining. She can come across as scary to some, but she very much wants you to do well. I had her for level 1 theory and level 2 pharmacology.

You probably know my friend Monique, she had her last semester for pharm too, but unfortunately has to retake it. I am working at a pharmacy just so I can be prepared to ace pharmacology. I really hope I get Mrs. Slick as many times as possible, I can tell you right now that I will learn a ton from her.
