Hey! Wondering if anyone else has applied for the St Petersburg College Fall 2021 Nursing program?

LOL yea I’m pretty anxious to find out! I have a 3.6 and heard it’s very competitive ?

Yeah I heard that fall was more competitive than Spring for some reason  ?

I have the same GPA 3.6 so hopefully its good enough! I know they are going to do a zoom chat with everyone that applied soon tho just to talk about the program and answer any questions. They just have to wait till the application cut off then they are going to send out an email link that will tell us the day and time.

Awe, they are probably going to do the chat while I’m at work ? I really hope it’s in the evening!

Last time it was during the day but I just logged on with my phone and had it in my headphones. Maybe you could try that too just get the Zoom app on your phone or take lunch at that time.

Do you remember around what time? I can't change around my work schedule, but hopefully it will be around my lunch time. I wonder if they send the information for those that are unable to join the Zoom chat. 

It's so hard to wait until July 1st! ?

We have received your application to the Nursing program and would like to invite you to a virtual informational seminar on Friday, October 2nd from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. While applications are under review, we want to help get you prepared for whatever your next steps might be.

You must RSVP to attend. Please use this link to register: 

 

The event will cover information such as:

What are your chances of being accepted?

What happens if you are not accepted?

Do you have a “Plan B”?

How can you become more competitive?

How can you be better prepared if you are accepted?

What are the costs outside of tuition and how will you pay?

What is the daily life of a nursing program student like?

 

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I’m here to help. - End email- 

 

If you cant make it don't worry because I just realized that they send out a transcript of everything they said in the meeting and the power point used to everyone.

So I made a post about SPC back in March and thought it got deleted so I made this post.. BUT it seems that my old post wasn't deleted and it has a couple other students on it now. Not sure if you want to join that one so we can all be together ? Im attaching a screenshot of my other post incase you want to find it.
