Space Coast hospital interview process

Published

I am so excited. I applied for my FL license by endorsement on 6/3 and the BON website now shows a temporary license. Yeah! That wasn't so bad. Now to find a job. Do the hospitals on the space coast give exams as part of the interview process? If so, what should I brush up on? I am a fairly new nurse and nervous about the whole process.

Specializes in Stroke Rehab, Elderly, Rehab. Ortho.

I applied for a job in Melbourne and had to sit a test on medications...I had 45 minutes to do it and it was mainly calculations adn side-effects sort of thing. I didnt pass or fail it - they said it was to see how much orientation I would need.....Unfortunately i didnt get the job - but I suspect that was because I am from the UK and they would hav to sponser me...I have a job lined up in Vero Beach instead!!!

Specializes in Emergency.

Ah the ever present med test. I've had to take the same test at 3 different times-at different hospitals. It was the NLN medication test. If this is the test for some reason it has a lot of chemo drugs on it- which we dont give many of in the ER.

Rj:rolleyes:
