I actually have an index of 65. Here are the drawbacks though, the campus on Union was filthy and no one was friendly. I asked two random students which building I needed to go in, and I felt like I was being a bother. If anyone is wondering it is the building with a big M above the door. The admissions office didn't have a friendly person in there. There were even bums sitting out on the benches smoking Black and Milds. I'm unsure of whether to attend school here b/c they do offer an evening program and it is much closer than driving to Northwest in Senatobia. My advice to having a high index is to make sure you have A's in all of your prereqs. It will immensely raise your score. Good luck everyone!
Happilysmitten,
My experiences on the Union Campus were okay; however, I did submit a request to a course added to my SW transcript from a transfer transcript and it was NEVER handled. I actually took leave from work to have this done and it was never handled. Professionalism and courtesy goes a long way. I am actually interested in this program because of the nights and weekends. I would like to continue working. I was accepted to UTHSC BSN Program and was slated to start this past July. I rejected it in hopes of being accepted to the evening/weekend program. I just hope I don't regret my decision.

Hello All,
I recently submitted my special admissions application and essay for the Spring 2013 Nursing Program. I've completed all requirements and attained a 57.5 index score. Does anyone know about past ranges for the admissions index scores? I am hopeful that my score is sufficient enough to compete with Spring prospects. As far as I can tell from past forums, Spring admission is highly competitive.
