Anyone apply to the nursing program at SPCC for Fall 2017? I turned in my packet Monday and already the wait is killing me, one day after the deadline. Wondering how TEAS scores were for everyone.

I applied for Fall 2017. Do you know when we will find out via mail? Is there a way to look online? What was your teas score?
My teas was 74 overall.
It only says "within a month" by mail on the website. My teas was 79 + 3 pts. That page where you add extra points for work/degree/GPA - those get added to your TEAS score.
That's great. Do you know much about the school? Graduation rate? I was comparing it to Stanly because I have also applied there. Do you have any insight or have heard anything from previous students?
I don't know their graduation rate but their NCLEX pass rate is pretty low- 82-84% (slightly lower than CPCC) which is a bit concerning, so I'm going to assume I'm on my own to make sure I know what I need to pass it if I make it in.

Acceptance letters have arrived for SPCC. I got in with a Teas score of 77.3 plus 10 extra points for gpa and having a bachelors degree. Good luck to everyone!
Congrats! I'm in too! Woohooo!

Hello, With you all getting into the program, how is it going? Any pointers to provide to a novice like myself? I will be starting from the beginning so it'll be about a year before I start the actual admission into the nursing program, but any guidance is appreciated!
Congrats! It's a great program but tough. My recommendation is to go ahead and get Davis' Drug Guide and look up commonly used meds and how to make med cards to get a head start. Get a planner, lots of index cards, and two ring binders. If you have your drug calculation book info, go ahead and get it and go over chapters 1-12. Good luck! See you in the fall.
