skills, experience in hh

I am a new grad (december) as a certificate LPN and started in March doing home health after I passed the nclex. I have one client who I stay with for a shift. My concern is that I am not establishing skills because I don't have a variety of experience. I am considering transferring to the hospital in the fall but have talked with friends who are overscheduled there. Right now I tell the agency when I want to work and give notice for any vacations that I would like to take (we travel ALOT!). Any advice on how I can keep up with my skills so that I am ready to go to the hospital? My client has a certain way to perform tasks and they are DEFINITELY not the way I learned it, but I point this out to them and document that it was patient's request. Any ideas? Thanks
