I was wondering if anyone around here had suggestions for waitlist -- particularly in reference to St. John Fisher College in New York. I saw a post about it not really having a waitlist but this was many years ago that it was posted so I will assume things have changed. I am a transfer student meaning that I get secondary placement to those who were SJFC students from the beginning.
I am a 3.0-3.5 student. Not the best, but I also have to work to make some ends meet. Trying to find a night nurse (CNA?) job so that I can study at night and still have clinical experience.
For references:
Anatomy - C? I am not the best at muscles but I rocked the reproductive portion, which is more critical to my particular interest -- midwifery.
Microbiology - B.
Stats - currently taking. Looking at a B- or C.
Physio - currently taking. Looking at low A. Love physiology!
Chem - I would be in A if I didn't get everything marked wrong for using crossmultiplication and not dimensional analysis...
Nutrition - B. Took when unemployed but depressive many semesters ago.
Psych - Easy A.
Backup plan for what would be clinical semester if I don't get in is to get into the local CNA training program and take a spanish for health professionals course. Otherwise will wait until spring for clinical and hopefully get in then.
They usually are pretty hard to get into during the fall time. I actually go there right now. They are really changing their program for the fall too. I'm not sure when you're supposed to hear from them.
Hey, I know this is a little late. But I just happened to receive the same news that I was placed on the waitlist for their nursing program. And I'm a little bit sad by it but I'm curious in knowing your experience. Did you get accepted the following semester ?
