It won't be your only opportunity, another opportunity is out there just keep applying everywhere, don't wait for employers to post positions, they may hire casual staff without advertising that they have job openings. Network with employed nurses, ask them to put in a good word about you to their managers, then if the manager is interested, drop off your resume. Join RPNAO become active with a professional association or committee. Volunteer with a charitable organization, do everything possible to show you are interested in developing as a professional.

The opportunity to work as an RPN in the Sioux Lookout has just fallen into my lap. I have been looking for a job as an RPN since graduation 8 months ago (I live in southern Ontario). I don't want to pass up this amazing opportunity but I don't know if I could leave my husband and children behind for a year. I'm so torn. My husband is 100% supportive or whatever I decide, but my children are young and have pleaded for me to stay. I just don't know what to do. What would you do and why?
