Hey everyone! Are any of you in the nursing program at Simmons college in Boston? I was accepted for the fall of 2009 and I'm pretty sure I'll be going. I was just wondering how you like it. How are the pre-reqs? Are they really hard? I am really nervous about the general and organic chem part, but I'm up to the challenge. Have you been able to get the academic suport you needed when it comes to study groups and tutoring? If you are a former nursing student from Simmons I'd love to hear fom you too. Thanks! :D

Congrats! I just got my acceptance letter for Simmons last week! I still haven't decided if I will go or not..... Have you finalized your decision regarding Simmons? :wink2:

I'm positive I want to go there, but I haven't sent in my deposit in yet. I'm still trying to straighten out the whole money thing. I got a 12,000 dollar grant so that gets me going, but it is just SO expensive. I love the school so, it's so amazing. :D

I have not gotten my financial aid package yet.... I really want to go because it is a great school but I am guessing I would have to take out a lot of loans... :sniff:

yup same here. they only gave me 20,000 total in aid and thats like half of what it'll cost to attend and live on campus. :( i hate money. I love the school and program so much so, i really want to go. I'm just going to do whatever it takes to go there.. it's better than paying less and not being happy at school.

Hey! I got accepted to the BSN program for this fall too. At this point, I'm 98% sure I'm going... What do you guys think of the school? I just went on a tour today and I loved the academic campus (The nursing labs are really nice.) but the dorm rooms were so-so.
