UK ICU nurse to Texas...hopefully

World Immigration

Hi everyone,I'm a nurse in the UK with 15 years of ICU experience....wow it seems so long. Anyway I've just passed my NCLEX-RN this January. Now I'm trying to choose between O'Grady Peyton and Assignment America. I was wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with these agencies? I would appreciate any advice or insight you might offer.

Oh amazing will look into that. Thanks so much for all your advice and help xx

Hey sammylp :)

I think we may be in a similar boat as I'm about to qualify and keen to move to the US!

I've been in contact with King's and they told me they plan to run the "Gateway to Nursing in North America" course every January, May & September and they accept applicants with at least one year's post-reg experience, as the US like us to have 2+ years experience. Not sure where the course stands in terms of BONS, but it does sound promising!

Hope this helps and good luck :)
