You'll get varied opinions on this one. Some people felt pre health was a waste of their time and some people loved it. I took pre health as an adult going back to school with a family. I needed to upgrade and I wanted to make sure I could handle a course load on top of my other responsibilities. For me, it was a worth while experience and the sciences right before nursing school was a great refresher and helped to give me a good base understanding.

Hi Paola15,
I am going to agree with what donk mentioned. I loved the pre-health program, it prepared me for the workload and commitment that returning to school as a mature student requires. Also, a friend who is currently in the GB RPN program advised me that the structure of the RPN program is similar to the structure of the pre-health program. During the pre-health, I struggled with the work load, but ended up learning how to time manage effectively in order to succeed. And like donk mentioned, the science, math and anatomy courses are great base for what we will learn in the RPN program.
Hope this helps some. :)

I think if you want to be a nurse, and completing Pre-Health is all that is in your way to getting into a nursing program, then you may as well do it. It is just 2 semesters and then you will be done!
I heard from someone that it was really easy, but I think it comes down to the individual and how well you are able to prepare.
thanks so much for the feed back :) i'm going to applied to pre-health!

Hi I'm currently in Pre-Health at GBC. It's an excellent program and it is challenging with the time mangement aspect. I am not finding the academics hard just managing time! Get yourself a good scheduling book and write it all down assignments and such. You will be fine and it is def. worth it!
okay thanks so much for the advice !
