Should I reach out to TCU HR departments?

I am looking for my first nursing job as a new grad (Minnesota) and would love to work in a hospital now or someday…I am having trouble hearing back from hospital positions I’ve applied for. I enjoyed TCU experiences in nursing school and was wondering if I should reach out to TCU HR departments? This could count as good experience towards eventually getting into a hospital or to me many TCU units had acute care skills? Any advice is much appreciated!
