Should I Become A PMHNP

Hello,

I'm a current high schooler who is very interested in psychology. Since I was in middle school, I've known that I wanted to be an adolescent psychologist. However, I came across PMHNP and thought it sounded pretty cool (same amount of salary, less years at school). However, I'm scared I may not be as cut out as a nurse as I think I'll be. Should I keep both options open? Maybe, go to a university or college that has nursing and a psychology degree? And please, if you will, share your experience as a PMHNP and how you knew it was the right fit for you.
