Hello! I got in both shoreline and lake Washington Tech for Winter 2021 program, and need to make a decision by Nov 27th. I welcome past and current Shoreline and LWTech nursing students to share any insights you have. I am mostly interested in knowing how well the program transitioning student to the real word. how does the last semester look like? how is the program clinical and skill labs changed during the COVID-19 environment? e.g. how often do they change in-person skill and clinical to online stimulation? Lastly, how does the program prepare student for NCLEX exam? e.g. are there study material, question banks, or mock exams available for students?  Thank you all so much for your input!

Hi Meng Ling! I just applied to the LWtech Spring 2021 cohort and they notify applicants at the end of February.  I you don't minds sharing, what was your GPA and TEAS for LWtech application? They post their average scores online but I am curious what individual's scores were. What school did you end up accepting? Good luck on your first quarter!

Hi,

Congrats on applying! My stats were: TEAS: 86.7.  GPA:4.0. I also had 5 points for prior education which LWTech no longer accept. Hope this helps.

I decided to go with LWTech because they have a preceptorship in last quarter to help transitioning into RN role. Personally, I see that as a big advantage.

Best of luck to you!!
