Shoreline CC LPN to RN while working

Published

Hello,

I'm new here but always come here to read opinions from people. Has anybody graduated from Shoreline's RN program? I just recently got accepted and one of the advisors told me the attrition rate of RN students is 50%. While I know the Shoreline program is accredited and tough, I did not anticipate this type of attrition rate, which concerns me a little. I want to work at least part time (20 hours/wk). Is this even possible or should I just quit for the year and dedicate all my time to school? Is the cirriculum really that difficult?

I should also mention I'm a mother of a one year old but my husband is like Mr. Mom but I would at least like to see my son once in awhile.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time!
