We use the Bard Sherlock for our PICC lines. I have been a PICC nurse for 1 now. With the Sherlock, the P waves should 'Pop' when in the CAJ. I was doing great but now my P waves barely register many times. I spoke with my Bard educator who instructed me a different way to measure than I was taught, the R clavicle, 3 IC spaces. I've done this and now my lines are 4-5cm too long and still no 'pop' on the P wave. Any ideas out there? Thanks
