Hello! I have been accepted to both Sheridan and Conestoga colleges for Practical Nursing for this September! I am super excited to be going back to school, the only problem is I don't know which college to choose.
I went to college last year, however I felt like I didn't belong there, so this time around I am hoping to find a school that will be welcoming, has a great program, a good residence life, and awesome teachers.
I have heard mixed reviews about the programs and professors at both colleges, and now I am very unsure. I also heard that Conestoga's anatomy course is taught through webcam, so I am not sure how successful I will be, being taught that way. Also, I heard that both schools placements are only in Long Term Care Facilities. I am aware every nursing student goes through a semester of LTC, but 4 semesters would be too much, I want experience in hospitals too!
If anyone could give me any info at all, that would be great, thank you!
