Shelton State Fall 13 ADN

Hello! I'm starting to apply for Shelton's ADN program this wednesday and I am BEYOND nervous! I made a 79 (117 points) on the TEASV and Im in A&P 1 now (Should make a B). My GPA is a 3.35 and after this semester it will hopefully be a 3.5! Im also taking A&P 2 and Micro this summer. Im just wondering what the application process is and also if these seem to be decent grades for getting in! Thank you!

I just applied yesterday. I have 212 points. I am so nervous! I really need to get into the program this Fall. You don't get points for GPA. The only requirement is a 2.5 minimum. Your TEAS score looks pretty good. The other points come from the APs, Micro and then 11 points for extras. BTW, good luck with Micro. I took it last semester and it was challenging to say the least.

I have applied, as well!! I made an 84.7% (99th percentile rank) on TEAS, and I have calculated 196 points for myself, (if I have done it correctly). I am nervous as I could be about getting in! I wish there were more people on here so that we could have some additional comparisons!!

I applied too. I made 133 on TEAs test (88.7%) but I have only taken Human A&P I. I am taking micro now but it doesn't count towards the points this year. I have 168 points. I am way behind 212 points! I figured it was a long shot since I only have 1 of my anatomy classes, but I figured I would try anyways! I guess there is always next year..

I hope that 168 is good enough! That is how many points my boyfriend has as well, and we are applying together. I hope for everyone that has posted that we all get in!

I got my letter too!! Anyone else a little confused about all the fees? The packet lists some things and the cover letter has a different total than what I calculated.

Congrats merryrachel! Did your BF get in? I haven't had a chance to sit down and look at the fees yet. I'm turning in my acceptance on Tuesday so I guess I should look so I can ask questions before I head to campus.

Hello can any of you current shelton nursing students please help me out and let me know what was the point range to get in last year for the ADN program because i am applying this time for the Fall 2014 semester...thanks in advance!!!!

I'm not sure exactly but I know with that class it was high. I talked to the director and chose to do the LPN route instead
