Share your humor thread (during clinicals)

I'm new to the forums and I thought I would start a thread on humor you have encountered or instigated during your clinicals (or anything related). I'll start with one and keep it short. We know how humor can have beneficial effects especially when interacting with patients. Once you can feel out of your patients, you can use your best judgment to determine whether it is appropriate (or not).

I was removing the foley catheter of a patient and wasn't aware of this adhesive clip for the tubing that was clipped to his inner thigh. Anyway this was my first time doing it in the clinical setting and later the patient asked me if it would be okay to get the clip with adhesive removed. He then mentions that it says "remove with alcohol" in big blue words. Then I said, "Oh, don't you know how to remove it? It means you're supposed to take a swig and then remove it." That got him real good and he responded "I'll have a single malt scotch." And so every time I went into his room, he asked me if I remembered to bring it.

I'm not sure what the standard is since it will probably differ depending on the manufacturer, but for this particular one you're supposed to take an alcohol swab and just rub it back and forth over it until you can pull it off.
