I have been at my current location for six months (initial 2-month contract, one 2-month extension, and two 1-month extensions). Well, I called my recruiter today and she asked when I was planning on submitting my documentation for my $500 travel reimbursement. I was taken aback because I didn't realize I had qualified for another one. Well, fast forward another 10 minutes and she encouraged me to ask for a 13-week extension and stated that she could roll THAT travel allowance into my housing stipend. It sounds to me like I will be owed two payments of $500. Thoughts?

A love "Shady Recruiter" questions, however I dont think that is the case here.. What is the exact policy anyway? Typically you get travel $$ once.. On your first paycheck. After that it is not really "travel reimbursement" unless its on your last paycheck.
Typically $500 for a 13-week contract= $1/hr. Some people would say there is NO SUCH THING as travel $$, just like there is no such thing as a start/completion bonus. It doesnt really matter if you get it in one lump sum or if they raise you $1/hr.
