I am seeking information for a community which needs to meet the needs of an
influx of tourists during the summer, but also has an expanding community.
Currently, there is an outreach clinic which operates under the management
of a hospital about 90 miles away. The hours and staffing are sporadic and
the community would like more consistency and autonomy to be able to provide
a better quality of health care to residents as well as meet the demands
during the tourist season. Can you direct me to any resources, models,
experiences and what sort of information needs to be gathered to get the
project rolling? Would appreciate any input. Thanks. You can reach me a

I am going to give your address to two resources...the Rural Nurse Organization has a lot of contact people that could help you. Our hospital administrator is the former state president of the Rural Health Clinic Ass. of Washington State. How to set those up and get started, what state are you working?

Lori,
I am undertaking a similar project in rural arizona. I am finding very limited resources but would be happy to share whatever I find with you. As I have just started this project, I dont have much info yet. I will forward my findings to you. Will you do the same for me?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am also interested in setting up a healthcare facility in Sacramento, CA. I'm completely clueless on the details and stuff. Is there someone out there who could help me out with all the info, or at least some to get me started?
My email is [email protected]
