I am applying as well, I am very nervous. I got waitlisted at ODU and I am applying at sentara as well. My GPA in the 6 main classes is 3.5 and I got a 86.7 on the TEAS 6. I am so nervous! I have been looking for previous GPAs of those who have previous gotten accepted, but no luck. Very nerve racking I feel your pain!
Yes that was my first attempt, I took it a few days ago, 86.7 was my composite. I believe I got an 100 on math, 89 on reading, 85 on science, and 69 on English. I feel pretty good about the TEAs scores since on the Sentara website says last year the minimum was 82%. I am just worried about my GPA, its only 3.5 of the 6 core classes, and overall GPA of 3.2. Have you heard anything about applicants this year? I spoke to the recruiter and he says that 3.5 is competitive with over an 80 on teas but I am very nervous!
Hi guys! I also applied to Sentara's BSN program. I have a 4.0 GPA, but scored at 78.7 on the TEAS. I am so nervous about my TEAS score. I saw that others got accepted last year with the same TEAS score on a previous thread, but I am worried because it is a different version of the test this year. I didn't study my first attempt, so I know I can do better. I really wanted to spend these few weeks with my little girl before summer classes start so so decided to roll with my first attempt. My fingers are crossed that my GPA will save me!
Thanks! I am hopeful! Just have to keep pressing on with applications as well because deadlines only come once and then if I'm not in with sentara then I'm in a bind for sure! Well hope to see you in class in January! But regardless! Still super excited to know that it wasn't a NO lol that's something lol :) and happy for you too! So glad you made it! Now if I get in I "know" someone í ½í¸‰

Hi All,
I am applying to the Virginia Sentara Health Sciences College BSN program, we have to apply by 6/15 of the year prior and Start January following. I am awaiting my final grade in Chemistry to finish my application and I am super nervous. I turn 30 this year and have been a certified Doula, and I am hoping to make it to Labor and Delivery specialty after all is over with. I am trying to connect with other potential students before beginning this journey and am hopeful that some may be on here. After completing the application i am going to be a nervous wreck, the waiting will kill me :) At least its only 2 weeks of waiting, by 6-30 we will know ... ahhh :)
