Seeking Psych NP school recommendation in California

Hello All,

First, thank you for reading this! I'm a 5 year nurses with 4 years experience in acute care Psychiatric nursing in California  and a previous masters degree in Counseling (no license however - I had to move states and it didn't work out). Psychiatric nursing is my dream and I'm looking for a Psych NP Program. I know the field is exploding and competition is tough but this really is my dream and I'm determined. I recently applied to West Coast university because of peers good experiences. I was unfortunately wait-listed. I'm going to try again but I would feel better if I had a few recommended schools to apply to. Does anyone have a program they would recommend? 

I'm fairly certain I can find my own preceptor since I know so many NPs and Psychiatrists in my area.
