hi,
i am currently a twu - fnp student who is looking for a rotation to follow a np or pa or md etc for womens services for 90 hours. i have completed the advanced assessment/diagnosis course already and now it is the remaining clinicals portions of the fnp tracts. this is for the fnp i course this upcoming semester. about 9-10 days total for the upcoming semester jan-may. main area if possible is houston and it;s surrounding areas. if anyone out there that is an np who would like to be a preceptor or knows of a possible np or md/pa that would be a lot of help. thanks! feel free to message me or email me at [email protected]. thanks again!

Hello. Although asking independently about options for nurse practitioner preceptorships is ambitious, it may be important for you to work with your current instructors to help identify preceptorship options approved by your particular program. For example, when I was in grad school, I asked my instructor about a preceptorship of interest and was told that particular clinical experience plan would not "count" for my program. Best wishes!
The program does not help or assign sites or possible instructors. Once we locate a possible preceptor we have to get our instructors approval...other than that we are on our own to locate preceptors. The worst part of the graduate NP programs...
