Hi! I just finished second semester in a "Top 20" Nursing school that's pretty well known nationally. I did pretty well on my other classes that are considered harder, like Pharmacology and med-surg, but failed Pediatrics this semester.
The school told me to retake the class this summer so I can graduate on time in next May, so I am planning to retake Peds and hopefully get a better grade this time.
Since I do not plan on becoming a Pediatric nurse, it didn't devastate me too much. However, I am just concerned that it will hurt me next year when I start applying for new grad positions.
Anyone who had a similar issue back in nursing school? And did it really hurt your chance of getting a new grad position? Also, I am from Los Angeles and from what I've been hearing, the new grad job market there sucks as it is right now:(
