I have applied for a school nurse job. I am an RN. I have experience in home health. I had one interview and have been called back for another. I was wondering what all is required by the state of TX to become a school nurse? I really want this job and have thought of several things that I can bring to the district. I am nervous about this second interview. What points do I need to be sure and cover? If I get it, I will cover elem, middle, and high school. Any advice will help!!! Thanks

Have you found out if you got the job yet? What type of interview questions and scenarios did they ask? I have an interview for a school nurse job next week and I too have worked home health and hospice for the past 3 1/2 yrs. Before that, I worked 1 yr in the hospital setting (med/surg). I'm nervous because I've never worked with kids before but would love to be a school nurse! Any input or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
