Hi,I am about to start my preceptorship at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, San Diego at progressive care unit. I was wondering if any of you is or has worked there. I am curious to know what kind of patients I would have. How should I prepare myself for my preceptorship experience.Thanks for your help!!
SD_RN13 32 Posts Apr 9, 2013 Hi gikg,I completed my senior preceptorship at KP on a PCU floor. I had patients with various comorbidities but mainly patients newly dx with a. fib/flutter, acute stroke, hepatic/renal failure, DKA and HHKS. Good Luck!
