Im trying to find information about the scope of practice (medication pass, IV's, blood, etc) for lvn/lpn in both Kansas and Arkansas, I checked the BON but I'm unable to find anything specific. If there are any practicing lvn/lpn that can help me further research this? I would gratefully appreciate it! thank you!

You will want to review the Nurse Practice Act for each of these states.  They are both compact states, so they should have more information.  Typically, LVN/LPNs are allowed to pass medications and have a very limited scope of what they can do with IVs, and they are not allowed to give blood products.  The Kansas Nurse Practice Act has a specific section regarding practical nurses and IV medication and blood administration.  I have not read the Arkansas NPA but it likely has the same information outlined in it.

Hope that helps!
