Undergraduate

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

This program is a traditional four-year BSN program for high school students. Transfer students are also able to apply from another college or university or as a transfer from another school or college within UVA.

Are there any LPN to RN programs?

There are currently no available programs for LPNs-RNs, but UVA will be happy to help create a track to complete an RN degree elsewhere, then complete the BSN at UVA.

Is the RN to BSN program full-time only?

The RN to BSN program is now a part-time program. The School of Nursing understands that the working RN has job commitments as well as family obligations.

Can I take the online MSN courses instead of the classroom option?

Due to faculty resources, all RN to BSN students can only take the MSN courses in the classroom setting.
