Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

This program is designed for high school students interested in becoming registered nurses. The program is the Prelicensure Nursing Program followed by the BSN program.

Admission Requirements (not all inclusive)

  • Proof of high school graduation, official transcripts, GED/IGCSE or copy of High School diploma
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • 980 or higher on the SAT
  • ACT composite score of 20 or higher
  • Grade of C+ or higher in high school laboratory Biology and Chemistry
  • Grade of C+ in Algebra I and one of the following courses: Geometry, Algebra II or Calculus

Accelerated Bachelor to BSN Program (ABSN)

The Accelerated Bachelor to BSN program is for students who already hold a bachelor's degree or master's degree in another field. The program is designed for adults seeking to enter the nursing workforce with a BSN degree.  The full-time, program is 19 months in length and is six- and 12-week sessions (including Summer). After graduation, he or she can apply to sit for the RN-NCLEX exam to become a registered nurse.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or an equivalent university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Resume including recent work experience in your field

RN to BSN Fast Track

The RN-BSN Fast Track Program is 15-months and designed for the working nurse. It is available online, on campus, or at a variety of off campus locations throughout the state of New Jersey. This program has 27 nursing credits and 21 liberal arts (48 total). Students who transfer have the potential to transfer in additional credits for liberal arts and sciences.

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Diploma in Nursing if additional university credits have been completed
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • 33 credits of Liberal Arts and Science courses

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

RN to MSN Online Fast Track

This 26-month, fast track RN-MSN program is fully online, and specifically designed for RNs seeking to fast track their career advancement by achieving the MSN degree in a shorter period of time. This program is less costly because it is less credits when compared to achieving a BSN then an MSN.

  • Associate degree or diploma in nursing with a minimum GPA of 2.75
  • 33 liberal arts credits in addition to nursing courses

Family Nurse Practitioner

The 40-credit Family Nurse Practitioner program runs for about 3 years, online and in clinical hours for four courses. There are 650 hours of clinical total.

After graduation, students are eligible to apply for national certification from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), State Board of Nursing licensure as an APN, and for admission to doctoral study.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a program accredited by a national accreditation agency and approved by the Board of Nursing with a 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Official transcripts of past collegiate work including post-baccalaureate work

  • A notarized copy of the photo page of a government-issued identification such as passport or driver's license
  • Successful completion of undergraduate courses in: Nursing Research, Statistics, Pathophysiology, Health Assessment

Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

The Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner MSN program is 585 hours, three courses, online and clinical based. The program is 3 years in length.

After successful completion of the course, graduates are eligible to apply for national certification from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), State Board of Nursing licensure as an APN, and for admission to doctoral study.

Online Nursing Administration

This program is perfect for licensed nurses in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing who are looking to earn their Master of Science in Nursing in a convenient, online format. To earn the MSN degree, students must finish 30 credits, which can be completed in as little as 19 months.

Post Master's Certificate

Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

The Post Master's Certificate program is designed for a MSN prepared nurse for independent primary care practice as an Adult-Gerontology (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in a wide range of settings. The program is 28 credits, 585 hours of clinicals and on campus incentives designed courses.

After completing the program, graduates are eligible to apply for national certification from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the State Board of Nursing for licensure as an APN.

Family Nurse Practitioner

The post-Master's Certificate for FNP is 31 credits and 650 clinical hours with on-campus intensives in designated courses. Transfer credits from another Nurse Practitioner Program accredited by a national accrediting agency are accepted.

The New Jersey State Board of Nursing approved the Pre-Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program.
