I'm in the Nursing program at ECC, and it's a nightmare how this program is organized. Exams for nursing classes are created and prepared by professors, but they do not even tell or discuss correct answers after the exam, that is why there is no way to check how it was graded. Also, be ready to teach and study by yourself with no support from professors or their classes. I do not recommend this program if you're thinking of applying here; consider checking out different programs. I would love to change to a different program, but I would have to take all nursing classes at a different college since you cannot transfer from this program. The passing rate is less than half of the class, and no one achieves A or A- grades; it's not possible to do so.

The SUNY Erie County Community college Nursing program is NOT what you expect. Ask what the pass/fail rate is. Ask how many level one students will graduate together. They will NOT give you an answer! & the class sizes are small enough that they can't act like they "don't know".  I would love to see the number of students that start together & finish together. It's a damn shame. I'd also love to know why all the reviews on "rate my professor" etc. seem to disappear. Every yr students rate their professors online & watch them disappear.  ECC is a good community college... just don't be tricked into their nursing program. It's pitiful. Terrible professors that teach the nursing classes.  And just to be clear... I have ZERO complaints about any other professors that taught pre requisites etc.
