Formerly known as Daemen College, Daemen University was founded in 1947 by the sisters of St Francis. The institution is a private university located in Western New York. It sits on a 46.5-acre campus on Main Street close to the New York Thruway and the Buffalo Niagra International Airport. The Amherst campus contains 19 buildings with classrooms, laboratories, residential and athletics facilities. In March 2022, the New York State Board of Regents approved a name change to Daemen University. Hands-On Learning Experience

The nursing program at Daemen University offers students extensive research, clinical, and leadership expertise. Additionally, the nursing program offers flexible course schedules and part-time study options that cater to the busy schedules of working nurses, providing a personalized academic experience tailored to each student's needs.

Mode of Learning

The RN-BS program offers a hybrid option, while the MSN programs have a part-time schedule, and the DNP programs are fully online. For all other nursing programs, on-campus learning is required. The course outlines are flexible to meet each student's unique needs.

To ensure adequate individualization, the institution maintains small class sizes for all nursing programs.
