Augusta Technical College, established in 1961 in Augusta, Georgia, is a member of the Technical College System of Georgia. Serving students across multiple campuses in Augusta, Thomson, Waynesboro, and Grovetown, it also offers courses at the Georgia Cyber Center. Originally founded as Augusta Area Vocational-Technical School, the college merged with another vocational school in 1966 and consolidated most of its programs at the Augusta campus in 1981.

With a capacity for 350 students in its early years, Augusta Technical College now specializes in fields such as cyber, digital education, and information technology. It's nursing program is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and training, emphasizing clinical practice, critical thinking, and professional ethics to prepare skilled and compassionate nursing professionals for the healthcare industry.

  • The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) program requires 72 credit hours and spans six terms or approximately two years.

In addition to its nursing programs, ATC also offers a Nurse Aide program and an Accelerated Nurse Aide program.
