    My Experience

The campus is truly extraordinary. Spanish moss covered oak trees on a spacious lush property overlooking the St. John's river. Student to staff ratio is extremely impressive, and small class size lends to excellent student support from professors and advisers. The cost can seem quite daunting, but for the small size and beautiful campus in the heart of urban Jacksonville, I find it worth the price.

    About The Staff

Extremely knowledgeable staff, willingness to work with students on clinical placements, and small class size lends to the charm of this nursing school.

    Things To Know

    My Experience

I just completed my first term in Jacksonville's online RN-to-MSN program, and I've had a fantastic experience thus far! The courses are very easy to navigate online, and there's a chat option if you want to reach out to fellow students. I got a lot of transfer credit for my RN license as well as many of the classes I took while getting my RN. You also get a great deal of support through Bisk, the company they contract to for the nursing classes in the online program. The classes were tough, but not impossible, and proctoring the final exam in one class was done online so I didn't have to find a local testing center. Through the JU portal, there's access to a wealth of resources, and you have access to the university's library.

    About The Staff

As an online student, I've only had email and webchat access to the staff, but they have been incredibly responsive and helpful. The financial aid office made it very easy for me to find out exactly what I needed to do.
