Hi,
I am graduating in a few weeks with my associates degree and will be taking the NCLEX at the end of the year. Due to an event when I was young and dumb, I will have stipulations on my license for two years once I get it. I already have a job with the hospital I currently work for, however, they require I get my bachelor's degree within 2 years of starting. I can't find any programs that will allow enrollment without an "unencumbered license". My restrictions state that i must work under direct supervision and within my state for two years, after that all stipulations will be lifted. But there is no restrictions on what I am actually allowed to do. Is there any programs that anyone knows off that does not have this requirement of "unencumbered license"? Pretty ridiculous thing for a school to require in my opinion. I don't know how stipulations on my license affect my ability to earn a degree.
Thanks for any help.

Hello! I know this post is somewhat old but wanted to share with you guys I was able to find 2 schools for RN-BSN that will accept nurses in monitoring as long as your license is active. Chamberlain University was one of them. They are a lot more expensive than what I was hoping for. About 19k for their program. Ohio University was the other and the tuition is very affordable. I think around 7-8k for the whole program. I had a great experience talking with Ohio University so I decided to go with them. They are fully accredited and have excellent numbers for retention and graduation rates. Another possibility is University of Cincinnati. They are affordable also. She couldn't give me a definite answer but stated as long as my license is active they consider it case by case. I didn't check back in to UC very much since I decided to go with Ohio University. The only think to note is that Ohio University only accepts students from certain states. I will attaché a picture of the states you have to live in. I hope this helps someone as I have spent the last few weeks making myself sick with stress trying to find a place to go after Western Governors turned me down along with several other universities.
