thank you in advance for any advice that may be given....
I attended Henry Ford Community College accelerated nursing program and maintained a 3.75 during the first year of the program( hfcc 80% = c ) Upon entrance of my second year ..i got divorced , was pregnant and homeless so needless to say i withdrew that semester .. i then waited 2 the next fall and restarted the same class again.. this time i actually failed the class with 79% . I was still going through financial difficulties ,living with relatives, taking care of 2 children and was pregnant with the third.. my last 2 are 13mths apart. ok now the tricky part ... the handbook states that if you FAIL a class twice you can not return .. they redid the handbook after i complained that i had not infact failed twice and included drops as well.. so here i am with a passsion for nursing and finding it very difficult 2 continue. HFCC gave me a letter of recommendation to attend a different school . It is too late for me .. for me to be safe in practice i will have 2 complete a nursing program from scratch again .. leading into the long wait lists and red tape ..I Just wanna go 2 school and have something 2 show for my 21000 of student loan debt ... does anyone have a school that they know of that does not have a waitlist or will take at least 1 sem of nsg credits ? i am willing 2 relocate !
Furthermore i feel that nursing schools should get on the same page so you can transfer between programs ..i mean its the same nclex ..
