School Bus Tragedy

Fellow school nurses and Allnurses friends, yesterday a tragic school bus crash in my district claimed the lives of six elementary school students. Please join me in praying for, or simply thinking about, these little children and their families. I have not figured out how to share a link, but the accident, in southeast Tennessee, received major media coverage. Our city is broken. Please remember us today.

Thank you so very much, dakotadenise. Our city is in utter shock. Six children claimed...in the twinkling of an eye...I just want to give all of my kids big hugs today and really live in the moment....because life is so terribly fragile.

That is just...I'm so sorry, fawnmarie. Those families, your district, you are all in my thoughts this morning.

There are no words, but I am so sorry, friend. Love and prayers to you, your community, and those precious babies families.

There are no words for this tragedy. I am crying in my office. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that these families and the community are feeling. Simply awful. I hope all involved find strength to get through what will be a very challenging time.

I am so sorry fawnmarie. Hugs and prayers for you and your community.

Have been praying all morning. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

This is just....unthinkable. We do well remember that stories of tragedies we hear about on the news are PEOPLE. With families, friends, and nurses who love them. I am so sorry!
