Mary Marshall Nursing scholarships are for students enrolled in undergraduate nursing programs leading to a diploma, an associate degree, or baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Application Requirements (not all-inclusive)

  • Citizen of the U.S.
  • Resident of the State of Virginia for at least one year
  • Recommendation from authorized personnel at the current School of Nursing or the School of Nursing they plan to attend
  • Narrative Summary explaining the significance of the Mary Marshall Nursing Scholarship in pursuing his/her educational goals, any school/community activities, and any skill-set that is pertinent to the nursing profession
  • Accepted to or enrolled in a school of nursing in the State of Virginia
  • Transcript - cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5
  • Demonstrate financial need
