This scholarship, sponsored by the Pride Foundation, is for students who are seeking a career as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Medical Doctor. This Scholarship is intended to serve as a multi-year award for a student who remains in good standing in their program.

About Len Tritsch

Len Tritsch was a passionate advocate for health and athletics. Len took on the role of mentor, coach, friend, and family to almost everyone who knew him; helping others draw out their strengths and pursue their passions. This scholarship is inspired by Len’s courage, wisdom, and his enduring belief that we are stronger together.

Description

The applicant must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington state.

Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT), members of LGBT families, or straight-allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBT community.

Award Amount

$500 to $5,000 annually, non-renewable. Last year, the average award was over $4,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
