Isemoto Contracting Company has been doing business in Hawai'I since 1926. They created this scholarship fund to give back to the community and support the success of the Big Island's students. They support civil engineering students which reflects the company's core area of work, student teachers to honor numerous relatives who work as teachers, and nursing in honor of a family member who is a Nurse and has provided comfort and care to their aging relatives.

Requirements

  • Resident of the State of Hawaii
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories)
  • Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your school’s financial aid office)
  • Graduate of a Hawaii Island high school
  • College Juniors or Seniors
  • Major in Civil Engineering, Nursing or Education
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA

  • Max: $5,000
  • Average: $2,000
  • Min: $500
