The Hawaii Community Foundation George & Lucille Cushnie Scholarship Fund provides for students from Hawaii (with preference to students from the Island of Hawaii) pursuing higher education in a medical-related field.

Requirements

  • Resident of the State of Hawaii
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories)
  • Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your school’s financial aid office)
  • Undergraduate or Graduate student
  • Preference given to students from the Island of Hawaii
  • Pursue an education in a medical-related field
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA
