The Filipino Nurses' Organization of Hawaii, sponsored by the Hawaii Community Foundation, started this scholarship in 2001 to support students of Filipino ancestry pursuing a degree in nursing.

Requirements

  • Resident of the State of Hawaii
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories)
  • Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your school’s financial aid office)
  • Undergraduate or Graduate student
  • Major in nursing
  • Supports students of Filipino ancestry
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA

Amount

  • Maximum: $5,000
  • Average: $2,000
  • Minimum: $500
